Club Meeting

Meeting, Sunday 24th Sept, 1pm, Oroua Downs (next door to the Memorial Hall)

An agenda will follow, but broadly speaking, this will be a meeting to update members on what the new committee has been working on since the AGM (spoiler alert: lots!), share new ideas and move things forward.    Once the official Club meeting is done, we usually hang about for while. This is a good opportunity to chat about our birds, ask questions, meet new people, and enjoy a cuppa etc.    All welcome, please bring a plate of food to share.

Time: Meeting start time 1pm

Location: the building next to Oroua Downs Hall on SH1, Himatangi.  Address: 1099 State Highway 1, Himatangi 4891    

Directions: On the left of the highway if coming up from Levin and currently has a blue Electricians sign (Kemp Electrical).    

Note on the new location: We have been kindly offered the use of the space for free, so this will be a good opportunity for members to check it out.     Previously, we have mostly met in Levin. We will continue to hold some events in Levin, but as the membership covers a wider area, we plan on mixing things up a little and using alternative venues as appropriate. This Oroua Downs option is easily accessible from both directions and is potentially more versatile than some of the other meeting room options we have looked at.
