The National Poultry & Pigeon Show to be held at the Horowhenua Events Centre, Victoria St, Levin on the 1st ,2nd and 3rd July 2022.

Reminders:

  • Entries by about 1 June – Not too late to enter! An electronic version of the entry form is on the website to make it easy to enter

  • Dinner numbers (for Friday) need to be confirmed by 21 June, $45 per person, with a cash bar, payment to the CD club as we’re doing it as a group booking payment (not paid at the venue).  Every dinner booking gets 5 tokens (to the value of $10) for the casino night.

  • Saturday night dinner is a casual, bring your own, sit down in the Conference room and chat – we’ll do a takeaway run for anyone wanting some dinner.

  • Sunday breakfast is complimentary for exhibitors, judges, stewards & special guests – we just need an indication of numbers.

  • Volunteers, if you’d like to help, we’d love to hear from you – email members.cdppc@outlook.com  and chat to Sofianna.  Erecting the show will be Tues & Wed 28/29 June from 8.30am each day.  If you’d like to help during the show, there’s lots of different jobs & you get an insight to how its all done.  And then Sunday, lots of hands makes light work to clear the hall.

 

Update on our Judges:

Because of Clint O’Briens late withdrawal due to surgery, we have now appointed John Taylor from Ashburton to judge the Waterfowl.

 

 

Dinner on Friday 1 July at the Levin Cossie Club

on SH1, 47-51 Oxford St – but parking entrance is on Ward Street .

You are welcome to the Cossie club from 3pm onwards for a predinner drink.

Dinner starting/seating at 6pm at the Levin Cossie Club. 

$45 per person for the meal, with a cash bar – money into the CD bank account with your name and ‘dinner’ (if you’ve paid your entries already).

We must supply dinner numbers to the Cossie Club Chef a week in advance.

But don’t worry, if you miss out on winning one of these fabulous books we’re hoping to have some for sale at the show too!
