The Central Districts Poultry and Pigeon Club is a newly revived club trying to raise funds for cages and equipment of show quality for Poultry, Ducks, and Pigeons.  We aim to raise funds through various events to hold a North Island Affiliated Show in the next two years.  Our members have a variety of birds and are a group of passionate enthusiasts. 

Over the last six months, we have been holding a variety of events including a display at the Feilding AP&I show and a show and sale at the Levin national AP&I show.  We have also been building our membership and interest in our club through stalls at the Foxton market and our huge event known as the Monster Bird Sale which was held at Oroua Downs Hall in November 2023.  Our members come from a wide geographical area including the Rangitikei, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Whanganui, and Palmerston North areas.
 

Through these events, we are raising the club's profile and working towards larger club shows where enthusiasts both experienced and novice can enjoy showing, selling, and learning about poultry, ducks, pigeons, and other birds. 
 

We are seeking sponsorship and/or donations of any value that we can offer as prizes at shows, use to create raffles, and sell to raise funds for the club as we work towards holding our largest show yet.  We will acknowledge all donations at club events through signage both at the show, on our Facebook page, on the CDPPC website, and any schedules we create for any of our events.
