27th March Meet-up and Sale (Levin)

Central Districts Poultry and Pigeon Club – Meet up (and Sale) 27th March 10am til midday. Levin showgrounds (poultry sheds) 

An opportunity to meet and chat with our committee, members, and buy/sell birds. The sale is also open to non-members / the general public, so please spread the word to anyone who might be interested. PLEASE NOTE - Vaccine Passes currently required in the Sales and Meet-up areas. Bird 'takeaway' can be arranged for those wishing to purchase and collect a bird listed in our catalogue in a minimal contact way. Buyer’s: CASH ONLY. We can provide boxes for those without a crate.

If you are looking for a particular breed, please let us know in advance and we can try to track some down for you. As members confirm which breeds they are bringing, we will update in our current sales catalogue but please note we might get last minute changes.

If you would like to bring down some birds to sell, please fill in the online form via this Seller's online form or email Sofianna on members.cdppc@outlook.com. 

We can provide cages, but please let us know, ideally by 6pm Friday 25th March (but the earlier the better) so we know what’s coming and can plan accordingly.

Bearing in mind this is a Club Event, so let’s aim for reasonable quality please. Crossbreeds are OK but must be clearly labelled as such and priced accordingly. No bachelor roosters/drakes unless very rare/highly sellable.

*20% of sales to go to the Club, so please take that into account when pricing.

 Any birds not sold must be removed by seller at pack up time. CASH ONLY. All sales via our sales desk please so we can keep track. We will aim to pen birds by 10am (so sellers come down from 9.30am) and the sale will end at midday. Please note, if we get bad weather, we might have to cancel, so check back here for more information as appropriate.
